The twist~

I personally believe the 'twist' of Emerald High is simple: It's a typical cartoon with a realistic edge.

The 'typical cartoon' being, they're all very colorful, crazy, funny characters at first glance. Example of such would be My little pony. They're color coded, ho yes, and all have specific personalties e.g. Hyper, moody, vain, spunky, shy, cool? Lol, I dunno. Point is, they look cool, thus draw your eye to them and you can immediately tell what each one is 'like'. I love this format, haha, growing up surrounded by cartoons and stuff ouo

The 'realistic edge' being, they all have personal goals, issues and family problems. Thus they can be used in a serious and sincere way, if need be. Perhaps as serious as soap operas, but with a bit of light hearted comedy mixed in there. Since drama overload makes me cry. I hate crying eue Point is, I want to delve more into serious situations and real life problems. This will let people relate to them and awesome things like that.

So yeah, just a little summary X) this is prompting me to 'work on' their home lives and personal goals more actually~

I originally used the word 'quirk' instead of twist lol. I thought it meant the same thing, bleh.
