Lol, twas a short while ago, but I writ a little something afterwards. Even though I had no idea what her GF was actually like and she wasn't relevant anyway, so meh, made it up as I went really. Either way, it wasn't worth uploading anywhere. Also a slight hint at her and Daisy maybe at least becoming friends, haha. Enjoy~

Break up
Love.
It's a funny thing.
It can end so quickly and painlessly. That's when you realise it wasn't really love, merely lust.
And soon after it can cut through you and destroy your very soul. That's when you know, it was true love after all.
In her case, it was mere lust. They'd been drifting apart for weeks now. They'd barely spent anytime together, and everytime the subject rose she'd blame school. She often thought she was too distracted by her lover to even concentrate at school. But now, she realises, it wasn't her love. It was her guilt.
Her guilt of saying 'I love you' everyday. Her guilt of letting lust take her over for so long. And the longer she kept up the charade the more it hurt to simply say 'it's not working'.
'Am I in love?' she'd ask herself, for she felt no passion anymore. That overwhelming urge to be with that one person, all day, everyday, and forever more. To tell them all your secrets. To trust them with your life. But the trust was fading. And fading fast.
The trust had already died before Kexi caught her girlfriend that day. To be honest, she'd been expecting it. She knew it was something Terissa would do. Simply out of spite, to make breaking up with her supposedly more painful. Kexi wouldn't fall that easily, however.
She watched her. Talking with that girl. Flirting. Touching her face. She was no friend.
But that's when she saw HER.
Terissa spun around, beaming, looking happier than ever. That was cut short, however, as her face dropped in horror hen she saw her girlfriend across the street.
Kexi stood, blank, as she stared directly at Terissa. Her sharp, red eyes filled with rage rather than tears. For crying over her was something Terissa wanted more than anything.
Terissa simply stared back for a moment, her glasses caught the sun as her head fell.
She saw me... Terissa's heart sunk. Moments ago, she had just been asked out by the girl of her dreams. But now SHE was the one filled with guilt. With no where else to turn, she strode towards Kexi. She gulped, wondering what on earth to say. What was there TO say? Kexi's face said everything.
The second Terissa neared Kexi, 'I'd ask who she was but I don't really give a crap,' Kexi smirked. Even when she was angry or sad she'd often laugh. It was her way of coping, coping with life.
'You're right, it doesn't matter. SHE doesn't matter. I'm sorry, I-' Terissa rambled. Hoping all would be forgiven, like she had Kexi under her thumb. That she'd get her own way yet again.
'Cut the sh**!' Kexi laughed and began to walk away, knowing Terissa was simply acting now, for kicks and to gain her trust, yet again, 'we haven't been that close lately anyway. I'M sorry! I shoulda just broke up with you, but no,' she stopped, 'I didn't wanna leave you alone again,' they both know it's an excuse. Excuse for the fact that Kexi was truly in love with her. At first, at least. Now? She couldn't care less if she was hit by a truck.
'What do you care if I'm alone forever?!' Terissa yelled, 'Besides, she's a LOT more caring than you!'
'Pfft! Just coz I think life's one massive f**king joke doesn't mean I don't care,' Kexi said with a sympathetic smile, then they both fell silent.
'You're right. We weren't 'working',' Terissa shrugged. Looking rather coldly towards her now, 'I used to like you Kex, but you changed!'
'Cut the CLICHED crap,' Kexi smiled widely.
'Ugh! You're such a joke KIRSTY. I'm sick of you. In fact, I wanted to cheat on you, to see if you'd even care. I shoulda known you wouldn't,' Terissa shed a small tear, hoping Kexi wouldn't notice. She was never the type to cry. Like, ever. But that was the first time she'd truly felt anything for a girl before. Usually she only wanted them for one thing. A kiss and cuddle. OK, two things.
Terissa quickly stormed off, Kexi took it that she'd never want to see her again. The feeling was returned. They'd been drifting, and not only had Kexi changed and become wiser to her acting, but Terissa certainly changed. Changed into a paranoid, spiteful woman.
Kexi, surprisingly, didn't give a sh**. She felt like she'd been single for weeks anyway. In fact, she felt great just to have her off her back. All she felt now was sorry. Sorry that yet another poor, defenceless, young girl was running straight into Terissa's clutches. She'd start by being the passive one, then slowly try to take over your mind and control your every move. To an almost obsessive degree.
Kexi knew better. She questions, even now, what possessed her to fall in love with 20 year old. Kexi had no idea what her 'type' was but still felt Terissa was never it.
'Hey!' someone shouts in Kexi's ear. It seems to echo off the cold walls of the classroom.
'Hm?!' Kexi jumps from her thoughts of that strange day, to find herself glaring into two big brown eyes.
'You OK?' Daisy smiles to her, leaning over a chair in front.
'Ha, yeah, yeah. Just tired,' she rubs her eyes, smudging her liner.
'You doing anything this weekend?' Daisy flutters her lashes, 'Coz everyone else kinda is and I was wondering if you'd wanna come with me to this new place opening, I don't even know what they sell or what kinda store it even is but loadsa people have been talking about it so-' Daisy rambles on, excitedly.
Kexi just smiles at her, as Daisy's voice always seems to lighten her mood. She often feels like reaching out and tugging her freckled cheeks. But yet again, restrains herself, 'Haha, slow down! Sure, sure. As long as they sell smoothies I'm good!'
'Sweet!' Daisy grins, admiring Kexi's face. Daisy often feels ignored and looked down upon, but Kexi seems to listen to her. It was simply chance they got talking, but she talks to everyone anyway. She simply hates having no one to talk to, even though she presumably talks to herself.
